Mother's Day Hanging Basket Fundraiser

Children’s Health Foundation of Vancouver Island has partnered with Holland Avenue Nursery for a Mother’s Day fundraiser for Jeneece Place.

We are taking orders for 10” shade or sun hanging baskets that will be available for pick-up at Jeneece Place (1 Hospital Way, next to VGH) on Friday, May 10, 2013 and Saturday, May 11, 2013 — just in time for Mother’s Day! All funds raised will support the continued operation of Jeneece Place.

Baskets are on sale until April 22, 2013.

Over 160 people passed through Jeneece Place at the First Anniversary Open House on January 20, 2013. Jeneece Edroff was there, too, celebrating her 19th birthday with the many well-wishers.

Where: Ambrosia Conference and Event Centre, 638 Fisgard Street, Victoria
When: Sunday, December 16, 10am to 4pm
Why: admission is by donation and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Children's Health Foundation's Jeneece Place

This craft show is very contemporary with the best edible and craft products Victoria has to offer. There will be around 40 vendors.

Mulled apple cider will be complementary for all who attend.

Between April 10 - 16, visit any Fairway Market and you can help to Pack the Pantry at Jeneece Place. All of the collected food will be made available to families staying at this home away from home while their children are receiving medical care.

After 10 amazing years, the Bear Wear volunteer organizing committee has made a few changes to the event to ensure the donations made by the sponsors are going directly to support children and youth.
